DEAR COLLEAGUES;
It is our great pleasure to invite you to participate to the upcoming 12th Annual Scientific Meeting of the Balkan Academy of Forensic Sciences (BAFS) in virtual meeting format on 24 – 26 September 2021.
Unfortunately, we had to postpone the last year’s meeting due to pandemic and we decided to realize it online this year. Hosting a virtual congress brings challenges and at the same time opens new possibilities. You can expect an interactive program dedicated to Forensic Sciences.
The aim of this conference is to share advances and best practices on Forensic Sciences. Forensic Pathology, Forensic Biology & Genetics, Criminalistics, Forensic Engineering, Anthropology – Odontology, Clinical Forensic Medicine, Forensic Psychiatry & Behavioural Sciences, Sexual Violence, and many others will form the topics of the conference. The 2021 Annual Meeting will address additionally to issues like Security Studies and Policing, Crime Prevention Strategies and Environmental Forensics.
Selected papers will be published in their full form in Yeni Yüzyıl Journal of Medical Sciences following peer- review.

The official language of the Conference will be English. Only abstracts submitted in English will be accepted.

The abstract book will be available online by September 24th.
The Proceedings book will be ready at the end of December 2021. The authors must send their full papers to the local organizing committee during the meeting.
